Your Profile

  1. Assist in developing and executing PR and corporate communication strategy for BookMyShow to build and manage corporate and brand reputation
  2. Spot and convert relevant opportunity areas for the brand to increase visibility in media; also collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to identify use of communications to support their needs and objectives 
  3. Coordinate all PR related activities
  4. Manage and coordinate with PR agency on a day to day basis 
  5. Assist in managing all media requests
  6. Develop content for press releases, authored articles, presentations in line with the organizational communication objectives 
  7. Seek opportunities for BookMyShow to be represented in all key forums 
  8. Establish new media relations and strengthen the existing associations
  9. Mitigate negative stories and reports through effective Crisis Communication

Your Checklist

  1. Should have fair knowledge and understanding of media dynamics
  2. Demonstrated ability to forge relationships with media, journalists, bloggers and influencer communities would be preferred
  3. Must be proactive in approach 
  4. Excellent writing and editing ability; strong command over English language
  5. Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver under pressure; can quickly learn/adapt on the move
  6. Never say no attitude-eager to take up new challenges and initiatives
  7. Highly organized, creative self starter with experience in working on multiple projects at the same time
