Assistant Manager - PR & Corporate Communications

Your Profile
- Assist in developing and executing PR and corporate communication strategy for BookMyShow to build and manage corporate and brand reputation
- Spot and convert relevant opportunity areas for the brand to increase visibility in media; also collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to identify use of communications to support their needs and objectives
- Coordinate all PR related activities
- Manage and coordinate with PR agency on a day to day basis
- Assist in managing all media requests
- Develop content for press releases, authored articles, presentations in line with the organizational communication objectives
- Seek opportunities for BookMyShow to be represented in all key forums
- Establish new media relations and strengthen the existing associations
- Mitigate negative stories and reports through effective Crisis Communication
Your Checklist
- Should have fair knowledge and understanding of media dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to forge relationships with media, journalists, bloggers and influencer communities would be preferred
- Must be proactive in approach
- Excellent writing and editing ability; strong command over English language
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver under pressure; can quickly learn/adapt on the move
- Never say no attitude-eager to take up new challenges and initiatives
- Highly organized, creative self starter with experience in working on multiple projects at the same time
