Role Overview.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in accounting and financial review. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting records, managing financial documentation, and conducting comprehensive financial evaluations to support scholarship shortlisting decisions.

This role requires both accounting proficiency and analytical capability to interpret financial data such as ITRs, bank statements, and salary slips, alongside sound knowledge of Indian taxation norms and not-for-profit accounting.

Your Profile.

  1. Manage and update day-to-day accounting transactions.
  2. Ensure timely reconciliations of bank statements, donation reports, etc.
  3. Prepare and review financial data, reports, and supporting documentation.
  4. Assist in vendor payment process and coordination with vendors/NGOs/Institutions for obtaining relevant information for accounting Ensure compliance with tax requirements.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams and respond to financial queries from all stakeholders.

  6. Review and analyze individual financial documents including: Income Tax Returns (ITRs) – to determine declared income. Bank Statements – to understand earning patterns and annual income. Salary Slips – to verify employment income.
  7. Evaluate and assess financial eligibility of applicants for scholarship programs based on defined financial parameters.
  8. Support & help manage and organize the financial checking (audit/review) and paperwork of a Section 8 company while making sure everything follows the required Indian accounting rules.
  9. Prepare analytical summaries and present findings in a clear, structured manner to management.
  10. Onboarding of Institutes, NGO’s, Organizations & Vendors. Review and assess all required registration documents
  11. Co-ordinate with POC at Institute/NGO/Vendor for registration process
  12. Documentation & Filing of all Financial documents as per the desired format.
     

Your Checklist

  1.  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
  2.  Prior hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 and advanced spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
  3.  Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written.
  4.  Working knowledge of Tax laws (TDS, GST, ITRs).
  5.  Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  6.  Attention to detail with the ability to interpret and assess financial documents accurately.
  7.  Proactive, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
