You will also manage our social media presence, create and execute strategies and engage with our audience to increase brand awareness. You should be able to lead and manage our social campaigns to nurture our brand's online visibility — from ideation to final execution and analysis.

Your Profile

  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to establish and maintain an assertive brand outreach on social platforms and website.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to meet brand objectives.
  • Manage content and creatives on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Website

  • Create relevant and versatile content to engage target audiences, promote our brand and drive engagement.
  • Responsible for ideating, conceptualising, shooting and editing fun reels for the BookAChange social media handles and website.
  • Writing post captions and creating and managing the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual content calendar.
  • Develop engaging and original content ideas that resonate with our audience and promote campaign themes and website.
  • Write captivating content for website and copy for posts, stories, and tweets that reflect the campaigns tone and style.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to continuously enhance our engagement.
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer and video editor to ensure concepts are executed effectively.
  • Monitor audience interactions and feedback to refine content strategy.
  • Monitor the organization’s social media accounts and ensure brand consistency in all social media messages, produce reports, etc.
  • End-to-end management of internal teams and external agency partners - design & media 
  • Preparation of an accurate brief document for all tactical activities, and ensuring end-to-end timely delivery for all campaigns.
  • Ensuring a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
  • Report and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and provide insights on performance metrics.
  • Manage outreach with third-party influencers and plan live events, webinars or conferences as and when required.
  • Lead and instruct cross-functional teams (content, graphics, marketing) in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

 

Your Checklist

  • Experience of at least 2 to 3 years in social media marketing, content writing, social media management and online reputation management (ORM).
  • Proven experience in social media content creation, preferably for NGO’s / Charitable organizations and their related events and campaigns.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a knack for playful, engaging copy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with problem-solving acumen.
  • Expertise in social media platforms (like Facebook, Twitter & Instagram).
  • Understanding of Instagram and Twitter algorithms and best practices.
  • Should be up to date on all current trends
  • Familiarity with customer service and customer relations.
  • Strong attention to detail with time-management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with designs, images and videos.
  • Good to have but not mandatory - Should be able to make quick image / video edits if required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with ease.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools (eg: Canva, real time editing on Instagram reels etc).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
