Your Profile

  1. Responsible for achieving sponsorship revenue for BMS events from key accounts/brands
  2. Work with Business Development (Event) team to understand the IP, events and possible brand integrations and brand fitment
  3. Work with respective teams to define possible categories of brands, high level ideas and potential sponsorship revenue
  4. Research and understand the marketing/digital spend patterns of key accounts and their objectives. Design solution that can fulfill brands objectives through the portfolio of BMS events. This can involve working with tech/product and marketing teams
  5. Develop detailed proposal and pitch to relevant brands and close sponsorship deals
  6. After deal closure, ensure right handover to client servicing team for smooth execution of sponsorship deliverables
  7. Work on developing annuity sponsorship deals with key brands
  8. Develop on going relation with key clients for sponsor retention by connecting with C suite executives
  9. Understand potential sponsorship requirements from brands and work on developing the same internally for future brands

Your Checklist

  1. 10+ years in event sponsorship sales/digital sales
  2. Understanding of the digital ecosystem of marketing- digital platforms, brand’s digital
    ecosystem
  3. Outstanding relationship building skills
  4. Ability to connect and engage with senior professionals in client org
  5. Understanding of the client’s approach towards sponsorship and ROI calculation
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
  7. Self-motivated to exceed targets
