1. Assist in handling all legal aspects of BookMyShow’s live events business.
2. Regular communication with business units to help identify and address legal issues associated with technology, digital product, digital content, integrated marketing, and programming across the BMS platforms.
3.  Advise and provide legal advice on a wide spectrum of contract, technology, corporate, advertising, intellectual property, corporate, m&a, and privacy related issues.
4. Analyse and interpret legal contracts and provide sound legal advice on potential risks and
   issues;
5. Liaise and coordinate with internal business and support departments and strategy
   groups to help identify, advice on and address legal issues associated with the live events
   business;
6. Support the Legal and Business with ongoing work streams including compliance, process improvement, template development and the use of technology to increase efficiencies.

Your Checklist

1. LLB/LLM from reputed Law School,CS degree will be an added advantage.
2. 8-9 years of prior legal experience in a top-tier law firm or an e-commerce entity/event. management company as a lawyer in an independent contributor capacity.
3. Drafting and negotiation skills. Superior ability to assess risk and determine priorities
   based on timely risk assessment as well as the needs of the internal teams;
4. Ability to assess business processes, understand business requirements, scope of
   contract etc. [Familiarity with the live events business - helpful but not necessary];
5. Ability to function autonomously, quickly understand and learn new skill sets and new
   areas of practice;  
6. Excellent business & legal judgment. Superior ability to assess risk and determine priorities based on that risk assessment as well as the needs of the business
7. Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor
   communication styles to diverse audiences.
8. Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and
   complete them on time.
