We are seeking a result oriented Merchandise Manager to lead efforts both online and on-ground at our events. This role is crucial in maximizing sales, enhancing fan experience, and ensuring seamless operations during our shows, exhibits, and events.
Your Profile
- Sales Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement sales strategy for all events. Work closely with the Project team to identify locations, size, storage facility, format, stall production plan, team plan and manufacturing plan. Identify avenues to maximise Pre-Event & Post-Event sales through online medium. Work closely with Marketing to understand consumer preferences to optimize product offerings and pricing. Identify & implement promotion tactics like bundles, bill busters etc to boost sales
- On-Ground Sales Management : Ensure that the stall and storage facility are ready within the stipulated time. Plan and execute on-ground sales strategies for events, including booth planogram, staffing and optimising checkout time Train and supervise sales staff during events, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets. Create & implement SOPs for future events
- Sales Reporting : Monitor sales performance against targets and share regular reports on sales metrics, inventory and customer feedback. Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability. Responsible for tallying on-ground sales & inventory at the end of the event.
- Customer Experience : Ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers at events. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to merchandise in a timely manner. Provide inputs to the creative team on design & items that appeal to the attendees.
Your Checklist

Experience of about 7+ years in managing online & offline sales channels, primarily offline channels

Having an understanding of merchandising and licensing market

Experience in leading sales for branded merchandise during large scale events or during the Sale Period with high footfall

Must have developed & executed successful sales events that align with the brand & the shoppers

Experience in handling promoters/ assistants/ volunteers & training them

Excellent communication skills & well versed with MS Excel

Experience across men, women, kids apparel & accessories, is an added advantage
- This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for sales & operations, can adapt to the target audience and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A passion for music, entertainment, or pop culture will be apt.
