Manager - Sponsorship Sales (Live Events)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in securing sponsorship deals for events/media. They will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and
closing sponsorship opportunities that align with our events and provide value to our sponsors.
Your Profile
- Prospect and research potential sponsors, including corporations, brands, and organizations, that align with the target audience and objectives of our events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective sponsor companies.
- Create compelling sponsorship packages and proposals tailored to the needs and objectives of potential sponsors.
- Present sponsorship opportunities to prospects through meetings, presentations, and other communication channels.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with the interests of both parties.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, including delivering on promised benefits and activations.
- Track and report on sales metrics, including pipeline status, revenue projections, and conversion rates.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sponsorship opportunities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand our network and identify new business opportunities.
Your Checklist
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in sponsorship sales in the events or entertainment industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
